Partaking in a Festival Night
Please read the information below on partaking in a Festival night and if you would like to partake in one please email typ@theatresports.co.nz and let us know which night you would like to enter
Please note that to have an opportunity to partake in the final you must partake in a Festival night, and only 1 team per school may enter into the festivals
Benefits of Partaking
- Similar benefits to that of Partaking in a Player Night
- The opportunity to be considered for the final
Cost of Partaking
- There is a per team cost for entering a night, as a member of TYP this cost has been subsidised and we do endeavor to keep it as low as possible
What Partaking involves
- The entire team arriving at the call time, usually 5.15pm
- Having a team of no less than 3 and no more than 4 students
- Knowing all blindround games – Paper, Furniture, Alphabet, Word at a Time, Poem, Arms
- Knowing four other games from the games manual, games must be in the manual or pre-approved by your TYP tutor
- Ensuring the team has a lift home at the end
Cancellation Policy
- Due to the high demand for these nights it is important that if a team wishes to withdraw the TYP office (typ@theatresports.co.nz) must know 72 hours in advance otherwise your team may still be liable for the charge of partaking. As TYP still has to cover the costs as if your team were there.
