Lizzie Tollemache
A born performer, Lizzie Tollemache has been turning down sensible career options since her first teacher asked what she wanted to do with her life, aged five.
Now, at the tender age of 21 Lizzie has already performed at London’s BAFTA headquarters as well as in lead roles at The Court Theatre, The Fortune Theatre and in the Christchurch Arts Festival-commissioned Macbeth. Earlier this year Lizzie created and toured her award winning Fringe Festival show The Visitor (Most Promising Work of the 2011 Dunedin Fringe Festival).
Also an experienced improviser, Lizzie joins ConArtists following two years with Christchurch’s Court Jesters, both in corporate entertainment and regular spots in New Zealand’s longest running late night comedy show, Scared Scriptless.
She tutors drama and improvisation, does a bit of poetry on the side, and is currently learning to play the guitar. Last month Lizzie enjoyed great success with her first professional fire eating act, a sideline talent she will develop for as long as her face remains un-melted.
