Dan Bain
Dan has worked full-time as an improviser, actor, motivational speaker, street performer, theatre director and standup comedian since graduating from CircoArts, the New Zealand circus school in 2001. He’s starting to get the hang of it.
While not performing Dan works as a writer for theatre, film and radio. Noted works include the silent children’s shows A PAINTBOX OF CLOWNS, WHY ARE MY PARENTS SO BORING? and his silent interpretation of HANSEL AND GRETEL. For the adult theatre his works include GAMEPLAN, a commission for Young and Hungry to be produced in 2012, and STAG WEEKEND. His radio plays DRONES and FORBIDDEN BIRDS EMBARRASSED BEES are in production by Radio NZ.
